As a professional event planner, this venue charges way too much for what they offer. I imagine it is due to lack of competition in the area, however, the price should be adjusted since you will have to clean up and set up the place yourself. Not to mention the table and chairs are not of good quality. Highly a disappointment for what you are paying.

It's a beautiful venue, but be prepared to clean everything up the night of your wedding/event. We had to break down and clean everything the night of the wedding reception, including the rental items that my party supplier wanted to take down themselves. The Civic Center should be more reasonable about cleaning hours. And instead of considering 8 hours a full day rental, they should adjust the price they charge and give you a full day of 12 hours so the florist and party supplier can get in and do their job without worrying about getting locked out.
How is anyone suppose to get information about events going on at the civic center on a sat. when one calls and all you get is a voice mail. Your Web site when viewing by cell phone gives no information on events only how to book and event!! I I'm from out of town visiting Bath and someone said they though there was a quit show going on but not sure of times and date. Wanted to take my mom to the quit show but not going to drive that far if I can't get any information. Some one needs to redesigh your you Web page to make it more user information friendly !!
