For our meals we ordered the philly chicken and the turkey club. Portion sizes were too much to eat. The turkey and chicken were very fresh and delicious, and the fries were awesome.
The meals and the appetizer arrived exceptionally fast.
I look forward to coming back, I haven’t had a meal that good in quite a while!

The staff was exceptional and friendly.
If your meal doesn't come with hushpuppies, get them anyway. At 50 cents for 5, a dollar's worth is plenty! You wont regret it.
Atmosphere was enjoyable. Food was great as always. A favorite place of mine to eat when I go back home.
Down on Main was fantastic! I travel all over & on my two visits to Washington, NC., I've enjoyed getting to stop in and try out two of their entrees and a couple of appetizers. My first trip was to watch a basketball game on one of the TV's, so I had to go with a burger. The Big G Burger was great, especially with a side of the sweet potato fries! The second trip to Washington, I went with the Ahi Tuna & chili cheese dip, both fantastic. Washington's small town charm along with the warm family-friendly atmosphere at Down on Main was excellent. Looking forward to stopping in after the New Year to try out the Shrimp & Grits, that I was told were great, along with a desert or two. Great dining experience & service!

Everyone here seems really nice ( the people that work here) it's also very clean which is awesome. Bartender I believe someone called her Michelle is adorable (friendly). I will be returning here for sure. The prices on drinks and food are very reasonable. As Arnold would say ( I'll be back)
Great find in Little Washington. My wife and I had amazing sandwiches, and our drinks were really good too. Service at the beautiful outside seating area was superb. Our waiter was attentive without being annoying, and was friendly and helpful.
We went in the early afternoon on a Saturday and were seated immediately.
